Why we built it
Parish and town councils are the closest tier of government to residents. Many run on a part-time clerk, a dated website and a handful of separate tools.
CouncilSync brings those tools together. Clerks get one console to manage everything, and residents get a clear, accessible app and website widgets to stay informed and get things done.
What we care about
Saving clerks time
Parish clerks do a great deal with very little. We put reports, bookings, news and alerts in one console so routine work takes less of their day.
Easier for residents
Reporting a problem or booking the hall should be as simple as any app on a phone. We remove the friction between residents and their council.
Accessible by design
Every screen is checked in a real browser against WCAG 2.2 AA rules, including colour contrast, each time we change it. Automated checks are a floor, not a finish line, and we want to hear where we fall short.
Careful with data
Each council’s records are kept separate from every other council’s, access depends on role, and changes are recorded in an audit log.
