Bus Stops & Live Buses
Give residents a clear picture of the bus stops in your parish and the buses serving them, built on open national data, and report a broken shelter in two taps.
Your stops, imported in a click
Set your parish centre and radius and the platform imports the bus stops from the national stop database (NaPTAN). Choose which ones to show, and link a stop to the shelter in your asset register.
Buses near the parish
Residents see a simple map and list of buses around your stops, refreshed every 20 seconds, using vehicle positions that operators publish to the Bus Open Data Service. Coverage depends on what each operator publishes.
Report a problem at a stop
A cracked shelter or a missing timetable case becomes an ordinary issue, already pinned to the stop's location and its asset record, and tracked through your clerk's queue like any other report.
Put it on your council website
Two lines of code, pasted into any page (a WordPress “Custom HTML” block works), show your stops, next buses and service alerts. It looks after itself, and the page below is the real thing.

What to know
- Bus data covers England. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland publish bus data separately.
- Live positions are only as complete as the operators' own data. This is a guide for residents, not an official timetable.
- Bus data is used under the Open Government Licence v3.0 and credited on the resident screen.
